European 14K Gold Diamond Freshwater Pearl Insect Scatter Pin/Pendant - The Fly

Made in Europe, most likely Italy, may I offer this 14K Yellow Gold/585 (hallmarked on the underside of the wing as pictured) scatter pin / Pendant (bale under head) depicting an insect - a fly is my best guess. With faceted round white diamonds just below the head, the body is a freshwater colored pearl while the wings are solid gold and not pierced.  Size is 3/4" long; wingspan is 3/4". Weight is 2.4 grams. Safety catch at the back to hold the pinstem in place; it's a little tricky going over the pearl but it latches into the clasp with a resounding click! Excellent condition with no problems I can spot. Just beautiful!  Look for the other 2 insect pins I am listings - what a trio of bugs they would make on a coat lapel!
