• Artist: Consuelo Gamboa grew up in Durango and Chihuahua, Mexico. Born into an artistic family, her earliest memories are of painting. Much of her artwork features idealized scenes of country life. Primarily using watercolors, Gamboa's work portrays beautiful women in attractive surroundings enjoying life. Gamboa started Gamboa publishing in 1987. She lives with her family in Southern California.
