The Resplendent Marsh Tyrant, or Palus Laetyrus, is a colorful species of the genus Rostrum Patera. Rostrum Patera is a genus of Grumpling, members of which often resemble birds of varying species. These critters can be easily identified by their pointed beaks - though they range widely in appearance otherwise.

This vibrant eye-catching little individual has a relatively small cranial aperture of only about 1.5 inches. It's striking plumage and inky, black eyes make it stand out in any crowd! It has a satin finish and drainage holes.
