French Revival Ribbonwork Spray - Pink Periwinkle Gold Florals with Pearl

Entirely hand sewn, here's a French Revival ribbon applique composed of 3 florals and loopy leaves.  The largest rose is fashioned of pink rayon, the medium of periwinkle satin and 100% silk and the smallest of a C.1920 French gold ombre ribbon with gold edging; at the center is a single genuine freshwater pearl.  The leaves are of a mint green rayon.  Size is 2-1/4" x 1-7/8" high.  Entirely hand sewn on crinoline. 

Uses?  A doll's hat, an embellishment on a piece of lingerie or dolls clothing.  Make a small pin or necklace.  Add to a lampshade.  The possibilities of use are endless.

The usual method of attaching to a project is by use of a safety pin, that way, you can take off the applique before the item is cleaned. Lovely pastel coloring that I hope will appeal to someone.
