Edwardian Revival Mothers Day Ornament | Mother and Child Nursery Decoration

Starting with a pre-formed Banar oval foam base, I layered this oval ornament with cream colored gauze and tulle. Then I added some gold and silver metallic fabric and placed a vintage die cut from The Shackman Co at the center - that of a golden haired child with mother. I believe the artwork is Frances Brundage but its possible if could be Maud Humphrey Bogart. The final touch is the worded sentiment at the bottom - Happy Mothers Day. There's a bit of gold paper Dresden placed here and there and the back of the ornament is cream satin. The ornament measures 5-1/2" x 5" and is suspended from a gold cord. An original design by moi!
