Dating precisely to 1931 and found in England in 1984 by me, here's a delightful print of a pair of hunting pointers. The photogravure, printed in color, is one from a series of watercolors by P. Mahler. MIMARD & BLACHON, a company focusing on the manufacture of hunting rifles and bicycles published the dogs as a collection to be used as gifts to their best customers. The name of the book was "Les Chiens, le Gibier et ses Ennemis" which means: "The Dogs, the Game and their Enemies". By P. Mahler. Published in Saint-Étienne, 1907. The etching is already matted and there is plastic covering over the piece save for the bottom (I think I got a discount on the print because of this).  Original price was 26 pounds sterling as you can see by the price tag on the reverse.

CONDITION: The shown print is perfect - what is under the mat (print edges), the condition I know not. The mat is also very clean. All that's needed now is a frame.

HALLMARKS: Signature to the front of the image.

SIZE: Mat measures 27-7/8" x 11-1/8". Image size is 8-3/8" x 5-3/16".

FINAL COMMENTS: In searching the Internet, I see that an original chromo of this prints runs around 400 Euros.
