This guideline constitutes a portion of our Terms of Service. When you establish an Account on Finnalby or view any of our site, you are consenting to this policy and our Terms of Service. Finnalby members are responsible for adhering to all applicable laws, regulations, or limitations on items, services, or methods of sale, payment, exchange, shipping, or customs regulations related to transactions. Sellers who violate this policy may face immediate account suspension or termination.
Selling Services by Retail Sellers
In general, services cannot be sold on Finnalby. Only services that produce a new tangible item that meets our marketplace criteria may be sold. The following services have specific guidelines:
Classes and Tutorials:
- Classes on Strictly Handmade are allowed on Finnalby. They produce a new item that is delivered to the customer when the class is being completed.
- Tutorials are also allowed on Strictly Handmade on Finnalby. They are selling the document that is used to create the item being completed.
Custom Writing and Design:
- Custom writing and design services are generally allowed since they produce a new tangible good. The final item should be sent to the Buyer as an attachment via Finnalby Chat.
- Curated Lists of information uniquely compiled or curated by the Seller are allowed seeing they produce a new tangible item. The final item should be sent to the Buyer as an attachment via Finnalby Chat. Prohibited list types include those that aggregate personal information, promote illegal activity, provide highly regulated or prohibited items, or violate Finnalby's policies, as well as wholesale vendor lists.
- Modification services which alter a pre-existing item without producing a new tangible item, are prohibited on Finnalby. Examples include tailoring, restoring or repairing an item, photographic retouching or color correction, and jewelry alterations such as ring sizing.
- Divination and spell-related items are welcome on Finnalby as long as they meet our Retail Seller Policy. Tarot, psychic, or other divination readings must include a tangible good, such as photos of the tarot spread, audio/video of a reading, or text of the reading, which can be delivered through Finnalby Chat. Spell supplies may be sold in their appropriate categories but cannot offer metaphysical outcomes, which are also considered prohibited services.
Prohibited services include but are not limited to:
- Reiki and distance healing
- Spell-casting
- Prayers
- Rituals
- Items with a metaphysical outcome (e.g., attracting wealth, love, gambling luck, more business, employment opportunities, or assistance with legal or relationship situations)
- Rentals of any sort are prohibited on Finnalby.
