Learn how to add up to 3 variations on a Finnalby listing—set attributes, add options, update variations, adjust price/SKU/qty, and save.

How to Add Variations to a Listing

While creating a product listing, it's possible to incorporate up to three attribute Options:

  1. From the Market Product Admin go to Variations
  2. Add your first variation description (such as size or color or style)
  3. Corresponding option lines will immediately present themselves beneath the chosen variation. To include more options of this variation, select add option.
  4. Add your next variation description and complete as above
  5. Add your final variation if applicable (up to three variations in total)
  6. Navigate down to the Update Variations and click this. Your variations will now update and show you how many you have in total.
  7. You can now alter the price, quantity, or SKU numbers for your variation,
  8. Complete the listing and Press Save.

The custom variations you chose will be visible under Variations.

How to add photos for your variations

If this listing varies on a visible attribute, such as color, you can add photos to show that variation.

To add photos for your variations:

  • Under Media, upload photos
  • Press save.

How variations work for buyers

If you have variations on a listing, buyers must select the options they want before adding your item to their cart.

Note: If a buyer happened to add your item to their cart before you added variations to the item, they won't be prompted to select your options when they check out.
