Mid Century Satin Lingerie Holder - Hanky Holder with Ribbon Rose Applique Embellishment

Dating to the 1950s or so may I offer this stunning lingerie holder - really, all that is needed now is the right presentation box! Made of brocade satin, this pale pink and blue lingerie holders features a gorgeous handmade ribbon floral applique at the top left. I can tell that the applique is on buckrum but I can not tell if it is glued or sewn to the top of the satin. The floral seems to be made from silk, french wired ribbon and cording. Condition is excellent! There isn't a mark on the piece - no wear or tear either. I don't think the piece was used too much (if at all). Size of the holder when closed is 10-1/2" x
8-1/8". What a lovely vintage, handmade gift to a bride!
