Genuine Antique Victorian Paper Lace Backboard - Yellow, Gold & Cream

AGE: C.1890 or so

ITEM: One single sheet of GENUINE Antique Victorian paper lace used to make Valentines - possibly Made in France but could also be Made in England. This embossed, die cut paper is extremely hard to find in unused condition - to even find one sheet is a great find. The design to this piece is multi-complex. A rectangular sheet of light cardstock at the center surrounded by a border of lace with gold embellishments over the top of the piece.

CONDITION: Excellent for its age. At the center you can see glue residue where an old die cut would have been placed. Now you can add whatever you wish.

SIZE: 4-1/8" x 2-11/16".

FINAL COMMENTS: You can leave the piece intact or cut out parts to use - in that way, you have bits and pieces to use in a multitude of projects.
