Over time, this Advertising & Marketing Policy may undergo modifications as dictated by Finnalby's Terms of Service. By continuing to utilize Finnalby services, you are accepting of these changes. This Advertising & Marketing Policy covers and explains your rights and duties when employing Finnalby's advertising services.
Finnalby Focus Elite Ads
Finnalby Focus Elite Ads are advertising opportunities that Finnalby purchases from a network of participating providers, such as social networks and search engines. Finnalby's network of participating shopping engines may change at any time. Finnalby currently syndicates listings to a variety of channels. Under the Finnalby Focus Elite Ads program, Finnalby pays all of the upfront costs of advertising on these providers. If such advertising includes your listing, a Buyer clicks on it, and then orders from your market within 30 days of that click, you will be charged an advertising fee on these orders. Please see our Fees & Payments Policy for information on how the advertising fee is calculated.
All Sellers are automatically enrolled in Finnalby Focus Elite Ads. If your market made $10,000 USD or more total sales in any consecutive 365-day period, you will be required to participate in Finnalby Focus Elite Ads for the lifetime of your market even if you fall below that threshold at a later period. Sellers who have not exceeded the $10,000 USD threshold in any consecutive 365-day period, or as otherwise required by law, may opt-out of the program. The consecutive 365-day period will be extended to 366 days during a leap year. Dates are determined Eastern Standard Time.
For the purpose of calculating this $10,000 USD threshold, sales are calculated by multiplying item price by quantity minus any discounts or formally canceled orders. Please see our Fees & Payments Policy for additional information on how this threshold is calculated. Beginning a month after initial calculations when the program starts, Finnalby will perform subsequent calculations on the first day of each calendar month and will give you notice if you have crossed the $10,000 USD threshold. Once you hit the $10,000 USD threshold, you are no longer allowed to opt out of Finnalby Focus Elite Ads, prior opt-outs while under the $10,000 USD threshold no longer apply, and Finnalby may promote your listings or Markets under the Finnalby Focus Elite Ads program on third-party platforms at our sole discretion, even if you fall below the $10,000 USD threshold at a later date.
If you opt out of Finnalby Focus Elite Ads, it may take up to three business days for your listing to no longer be displayed as part of this program. Finnalby may continue to use your listings, including for analytics and marketing purposes, to improve Finnalby Focus Elite Ads even if you opt out of this program. Even if you opt out, if a Buyer clicked on your Finnalby Focus Elite Ad before your opt-out is effective, you will still be charged the advertising fee for any orders placed within 30 days of that Buyer’s click.
All of your listings or markets may be promoted, including any new listings you create. If you make any edits to your Finnalby listings or market, your ads will be updated automatically to reflect those changes, although those updates may not be instantaneous.
In addition, certain third-party platforms on which Finnalby Focus Elite Ads are promoted may enable offsite checkout functionality for Finnalby listings that are displayed as Finnalby Focus Elite Ads (“Partner Checkout”). Specifically, Partner Checkout allows Buyers to purchase and complete the checkout process for such Finnalby listings via Finnalby Ledger entirely on and through the third-party platform, without a redirect to Finnalby.com or Finnalby mobile apps. In the event of any purchase of your listings through Partner Checkout, the Buyer will be made aware that they are purchasing through your market via Finnalby Ledger and will receive links directly to your market and your market policies. You will continue to be responsible for your listings, including shipping, customer support, and dispute resolution, regardless of whether a sale is made through the Partner Checkout or directly on Finnalby.com or Finnalby mobile apps, in accordance with Finnalby policies. In addition, the Indemnification terms that are included in the Terms of Service will be deemed to include any third-party platforms that enable Partner Checkout as intended third-party beneficiaries of such indemnification rights, on the same terms and to the same extent as Finnalby and including with respect to Partner Checkout and any listings promoted or sold through Partner Checkout. If you participate in Finnalby Focus Elite Ads, some of your listings may additionally be available for Partner Checkout, and as a result, you will be subject to the related terms and policies described above. You may opt out of Partner Checkout only by opting out of Finnalby Focus Elite Ads.
Advertising on third-party platforms, including related Partner Checkout, is subject to the terms and policies set forth by each participating platform, which may be different from Finnalby’s. You are responsible for complying with the terms and policies of the participating third-party sites. By failing to do so, your listing may be removed from Finnalby Focus Elite Ads. Any market, listing, ad, or account that violates Finnalby policies, Partner policies, or which Finnalby determines in its sole discretion is not appropriate for Finnalby Focus Elite Ads, may be restricted from appearing in one or more Partner’s channels or prohibited from participating in Finnalby Focus Elite Ads altogether. As always, you are responsible for following Finnalby Terms of Service, including requirements about your content, your use of oursServices, and our rights to termination.
If you opt out of or are otherwise removed from Finnalby Focus Elite Ads, you will still be charged the advertising fee for any orders placed within 30 days of a Buyer’s click on your offsite ad, even if that ad is later no longer displayed as part of Finnalby Focus Elite Ads. This means that you are still accountable for any costs incurred related to clicks and potential sales within this time frame.
These policies are designed to ensure that both Sellers and Buyers have a satisfactory experience on Finnalby. Sellers have the opportunity to reach a wider audience and increase sales through Finnalby Focus Elite Ads, while Buyers have the chance to discover a wider range of products. At the same time, these policies help maintain the integrity and reputation of the Finnalby platform, ensuring that it remains a trusted marketplace for both Sellers and Buyers.
As a Seller, understanding these policies can help you make informed decisions about your participation in Finnalby Focus Elite Ads and will enable you to better manage your market's advertising budget and strategies. It's important to regularly review these policies, as Finnalby may update them from time to time.
Finnalby allows Sellers to run market-specific promotions in the form of Sales and Coupons. Sales can involve discounts on your listing price(s) or offering free shipping, visible to all Buyers or a specified category of Buyers, as per the Seller's preference. As a Seller, you need to abide by all laws (including consumer protection rules) applicable in your jurisdiction when running a Sale.
A Coupon is a code which can be redeemed for a discount or free shipping and is not publicly displayed. It can be used by any Buyer who has the code and can be applied on multiple listings and occasions until its set expiration date. Sellers are responsible for setting the terms and conditions for these promotions and ensuring they comply with Finnalby policies and Governmental laws. Coupon Codes will be developed for you to implement in your markets, but for now, Sellers will have to supply this customer a private listing at this time.
Finnalby reserves the right to change or discontinue this service at any time with notice.
Finnalby may, at its sole discretion, include your listings or markets in other marketing and third-party advertising programs as outlined in Finnalby's Terms of Service.

Using these services does not obligate Finnalby to display an ad or promote your listings or markets, and cannot guarantee clicks or sales resulting from a displayed ad or promotion.
Finnalby and its third-party channel partners' advertising policies and services may change over time, with no guaranteed features, results, or third-party channels. Permission is given to Finnalby to automate all or parts of its advertising service, even if it replaces the parameters you set for that service.
Finnalby may occasionally test or experiment with new advertising products, and the appearance of ads may change as our programs evolve. Ads must not infringe upon or violate the rights of any third party, and you are responsible for ensuring your ads comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Finnalby reserves the right to reject or remove any ad or promotion for any reason.
