Finnalby Gift Cards, Credits & Coupons Seller Policy
This policy explains Finnalby Gift Cards, Finnalby Credits, Finnalby Coupons, and Market-Specific Gift Certificates and is a part of Finnalby's Terms of Service. By either purchasing, redeeming or acceptance of a Finnalby Gift Card, a Finnalby Coupon or Credit, or a Market-Specific Gift Certificate, you’re agreeing to this policy and our Terms of Service set forth.
Purchasing a Finnalby Gift Card:
Finnalby Gift Cards are available for purchase directly from Finnalby in designated amounts. They must be purchased using a credit or debit card with a valid U.S. billing address. A unique code will be sent to the recipient via email, or you can choose to print the gift card yourself. Gift cards are issued in United States Dollars (USD) and have an expiration date mentioned in the email sent to the recipient.
Receiving a Finnalby Credit:
Finnalby Credits can be received as part of special offers, promotions, or as part of a refund or other payment from Finnalby. They are issued in United States Dollars (USD) and are subject to additional offer or promotion-specific terms and conditions. Finnalby, at its sole discretion, may exclude certain Buyers from any special offer or promotion.
Redeeming an Finnalby Gift Card or Finnalby Credit:
To redeem your Finnalby Gift Card or Finnalby Credit, you will receive a 15 digit code via email or printed gift card. You can redeem the code by clicking the link in the email (if applicable) or by entering the unique code on Finnalby's website. You need to have an existing Finnalby account or register a new account to redeem a gift card or credit. Once redeemed, it cannot be returned for cash value and can never be transferred to another account.
Using Your Finnalby Gift Card or Finnalby Credit Balance:
Your gift card or credit balance can be applied to eligible purchases from markets that accept Finnalby Ledger. At checkout, you can apply the balance to eligible orders. If your order total is less than your existing balance, the remaining balance will be saved for future purchases. If the order total is more than your balance, the remaining amount must be paid with a credit card through Finnalby Ledger.
Receiving a Finnalby Coupon:
Finnalby Coupons offer fixed dollar or percentage price reductions on purchases at checkout. They can be received as part of special offers or promotions and may be subject to additional terms and conditions. Finnalby may exclude certain Buyers from special offers or promotions or direct them to specific audiences.
Redeeming Your Finnalby Coupon:
To redeem your coupon, enter the unique code at checkout while purchasing from a participating market (a market that accepts Finnalby Ledger). The coupon value will be deducted from the item price (excluding tax and shipping costs) in participating markets. Coupons must be used by the specified expiration date, and they are non-transferable.
Accepting an Finnalby Gift Card, Finnalby Credit, or Finnalby Coupon Payment:
Markets must accept Finnalby gift cards, credits, and coupons as payment methods. You can learn more about accepting these payment methods in Finnalby's Help article here.
Market-Specific Gift Certificates:
Market-specific gift certificates are offered by individual sellers for use only in their own markets and are not affiliated with Finnalby Gift Cards. Sellers must comply with local laws, include specific sentences in their item listings, ensure their certificates cannot be confused with official Finnalby Gift Cards, and sell them at full value.
Sellers can offer gift certificates for use in their own markets. These are not affiliated with Finnalby Gift Cards. By offering market-specific gift certificates, you acknowledge the responsibility to comply with all applicable laws and must sell them at full value. A specific sentence must be included on the Market-Specific Gift Certificate to ensure they cannot be confused with official Finnalby Gift Cards. This sentence is as follows: "This is not a Finnalby Gift Card. This Gift Certificate is valid only in my Finnalby Market, and it is only redeemable at this Finnalby Market."
After the written expiration date of the Finnalby Gift Card, Finnalby Coupon, or Finnalby Credit, the recipient will no longer be able to redeem the Finnalby Gift Card, Finnalby Coupon, or Finnalby Credit, or use the remaining balance.
